Formed in the early '90s by Kevin Mckenna and Dan Selmon, they were assisted for a short time by Simon Crafter (guitars) and various drummers before things settled down line-up wise. Before Simon departed Martin McIver joined as permanent drummer and trend setter. Simon was quickly replaced by David Hands, previously of Blue Puke and Gentle Banana People. A new set was written within weeks and a lengthy gigging partnership began. |

Sending out dozens of home produced demo tapes and handing out flyers outside nightclubs got things moving quickly. The band were notching up the gigs and still had no manager, or money come to mention it. Within a few months it became apparent that the project was worth having a real go at, so Martin and Dan moved to a house in St. Albans just a few doors up from the now infamous 81 London Road, where David & Kev already lived. Here the band continued to rehearse and write for the next four years.
