I had to make a trip back to England recently (September '05) and stayed in St. Albans for a couple of days. It was great to see some old faces again. I don't get opportunities like that too often. What wasn't so great was to find out that those Quakers who owned 81 London Road (and most of everything else in the 'hood' ) have decided to sell everything up in favour of another Tesco store. The Quakers were really good to us over the time we lived there and I hope they haven't run into problems.

I haven't lived in Snorbens for ages now but seeing the old place boarded up ready for demolition kinda made me sad. Anyways, it was home to more than 30 people over the time I knew of it and my home for five years. I felt it just deserved preserving on a webpage at least.
